The CFI, Jim Birnie, has been flying since 1978 and has accumulated over 7000 flying hours in various aircraft types, and has nearly 3000 hours as a flying instructor

Senior Instructor, Bryan Cheek, has been instructing since 1985, and has over 4000 flying hours

Our newest recruit, Marius Cromati, learnt to fly with us and went on to complete his Airline Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL) with multi-engine, instrument and instructor ratings, he has nearly 1000 hours of flight experience

The training aircraft is the Cessna 172, which is a four-seat, single-engine, high-wing fixed-wing aircraft made by the Cessna Aircraft Company

The Cessna 172 is an ideal training aircraft, as well as offering additional seating for passengers

More Cessna 172s have been built than any other aircraft and, measured by its longevity and popularity, the Cessna 172 is considered the most successful aircraft in history
